Ingredients
Directions
  • Peel and dice the apple into small cubes. Then preheat a ceramic pan on medium heat, and add the butter, then the apples. Cook the apples for about 10 minutes over medium/low heat, stirring occasionally until they get a little soft but still have some bite to them. Sprinkle the pumpkin pie spice over the apples and give them a final stir before removing them from the heat and transferring the apples to a bowl to cool. (To speed up cooling, place in the freezer for 5-10 minutes and stir occasionally to release the heat.)
  • In a separate bowl, add the Greek yogurt, vanilla, and FlavCity Vanilla Cream Protein Smoothie. Mix it up until it’s smooth and creamy. Set aside.
  • Build the parfaits in three layers. In a mason jar, start off by adding 1/3 of the crushed Sweet Thins to the bottom, then add 1/3 of the cooled sautéed apples, followed by 1/3 of the yogurt mixture, repeating these layers until you reach the top. Garnish with a few more of the crushed cookies, any remaining apples, and a dusting of pumpkin pie spice.
  • Stash in the fridge overnight to enjoy the next morning, or enjoy immediately.

*Note:

  • If using FlavCity plant-based protein smoothie, be sure to double the amount.
