Could you ever, in your wildest dreams, imagine a “Bobby Approved” Nestle Crunch Bar with 11.5g of protein? Well, folks, that’s exactly what we’ve created with this recipe! These Crispy Peanut Butter Cups get their protein from our FlavCity Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie. They’re chocolatey, crunchy, sweet and salty thanks to peanut butter, chocolate chips, and crispy brown rice cereal. Plus, the set-up time in the fridge is quick. So, you get to enjoy them right away!Makes 12 cups

Ingredients

Directions
  • To a double boiler add the chocolate chips and stir until they’re melted. Then add the coconut oil to the melted chocolate and mix to combine. Then add the peanut butter and mix to combine again.
  • Remove the bowl from the double boiler and add the FlavCity Protein Smoothie. Stir well to combine.
  • Mix in the crispy brown rice cereal until everything is all well coated with the chocolate mixture.
  • Using a silicone muffin mold, evenly distribute the mix into all 12 muffin cups. Place them in the fridge until they’re firm (about 2-3 hours or overnight). Pop ‘em out of the mold and enjoy!

Note:

If using FlavCity plant-based protein, be sure to use 4 scoops.


Keep any leftovers in the fridge and consume within 5 days or freeze and enjoy within 6 months.
