You aren’t gonna believe the deliciousness of this High-Protein Chocolate Fudge. It tastes as good as the fudge from a small-town confectionery, but is so much healthier for you. It’s high in protein because of FlavCity’s Chocolate Protein Smoothie and almond butter. But, you won’t find tons of refined sugar here, because the main sweetener is a touch of maple syrup. Plus, you’re getting healthy fats from coconut oil. You’re gonna rejoice in the fact that you can enjoy fudge again - the healthier way!Makes 24 mini fudge bites

Directions
  • In a small saucepan, combine the almond butter, coconut oil, FlavCity Chocolate Protein Smoothie, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon and salt.
  • Place the saucepan on medium low heat and stir the mixture continuously for about 5 minutes, until everything is melted and well combined.
  • Line a mini muffin pan(s) with 24 parchment paper liners and carefully pour the melted fudge mixture equally into the lined muffin pan(s).
  • Sprinkle a few chocolate chips on top of the fudge mixture.
  • Place the muffin pan(s) in the freezer for about 30 minutes, or until the fudge is set.
  • Thaw for a few minutes on the counter before digging in, then enjoy!
Recipe notes: You can swap the almond butter for any nut or seed butter. Note this may change the flavor but it will work just fine! If using FlavCity’s Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie, use 2 full scoops instead of 1 scoop of the whey-based smoothie. Store any leftover fudge in an airtight container in the freezer. When you’re ready to enjoy them again be sure to thaw them for a few minutes before digging in!
