You’re going to love these crunchy, chocolatey Protein Cereal Bars! They’re so easy to make and extra high in protein because they're made with our FlavCity Vanilla Cream Protein Smoothie and peanut butter. And the crunch of the cereal, combined with the sweetness of the melted chocolate, completes the burst of flavors and textures in this recipe. These bars are a delicious and nutritious snack!Makes 6 bars

- Line the bottom of a 7 x 9 casserole dish with parchment paper, set aside.
- In a bowl add the peanut butter and 1/4 cup milk, whisk to combine. Then add the FlavCity Protein Smoothie and mix to combine. If the mixture is too thick add 1 tablespoon of milk at a time to loosen it up. You are looking for a thick, but slightly loose texture. Next add the cereal and mix well to combine.
- Pour the cereal mixture into the prepared dish and use a spatula to firmly spread it out evenly. Take a second piece of parchment paper and place it on top of the cereal mix, using your hand, firmly press down to compact the mixture so it stays together.
- Place the dish in the freezer for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Meanwhile, melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler.
- Once the bars are set, remove them from the freezer and cut them into 6 bars. Dip the bottom of each bar into the melted chocolate and place upside down on the parchment paper to set.
- Enjoy immediately or store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
* If using FlavCity plant-based Protein Smoothie, be sure to double the amount to 2 scoops.
