Protein Cereal Bites

These Protein Cereal Bites are a delicious combination of crunchy cereal and creamy chocolate. They’re high in protein thanks to our FlavCity Vanilla Cream Protein Smoothie, and get a double dose of chocolate from the crunchy cereal and some melted chocolate that’s drizzled over the top. And because there’s no baking required, they’re super easy to make whenever you have a hankering for a chocolatey snack that happens to be healthy, too!Makes 12 Bites

- In a large bowl add almond butter, vanilla, and maple syrup, then mix to combine. Add the FlavCity Vanilla Cream Protein Smoothie, then add 1 tablespoon of almond milk to loosen the batter. If needed, add 1 more tablespoon of almond milk.
- Once well combined, add the cereal (we used Seven Sundays Sunflower Cereal with real cocoa). Start with 1.5 cups and add more as needed. You are looking for the batter to cover the cereal just enough so you can roll the batter into balls.
- Coat your hands with an oil spray (such as avocado oil spray). Then divide the cereal into 12 portions and roll them out into balls. Place them on a parchment paper-lined sheet tray and then put them in the freezer for 10 minutes to set.
- Meanwhile, melt the chocolate chips over a double boiler. Once melted, remove the cereal bites from the freezer and drizzle the chocolate over them. Enjoy!
- Store any leftover cereal bites in a container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
*Note: If using FlavCity Plant-Based Protein Smoothie, be sure to use 2 scoops.
